Relax people, nothing to see here. CDW is navigating the stormy waters pretty well, it’s been choppy but we will get to the calm waters and take off again, have faith in the leadership team

Is there any real evidence or events to point to CDW being acquired? The amount of companies that have that cash on hand are slim to zilch. This site is supposed to be somewhat informative and not just spinning conspiracy.

Several bad quarters in a row must make us look vulnerable to a takeover, here's hoping we break the losing streak next quarter.

There’s nothing to fear about CDW being acquired. We own no patents, make no goods, provide very few original services - we just resell, we don’t have a good tech infrastructure or optimized supply chain. Why would anyone buy us? Heck, I stopped buying stock over a year ago.

Sometimes companies are acquired strictly for the bodycount they bring to the table. The sellers, despite recent struggles, are an asset. They have connections and contacts around the country. Another company could acquire us and pivot our sellers immediately to a new focus. Of course, the back office and support groups are normally gutted and released.

The Bottom Line
The most important thing to take away is that there's been no major change in sentiment, with the analysts reconfirming that the business is performing in line with their previous earnings per share estimates. On the plus side, there were no major changes to revenue estimates; although forecasts imply they will perform worse than the wider industry. There was no real change to the consensus price target, suggesting that the intrinsic value of the business has not undergone any major changes with the latest estimates.

I hope we are too big to be scooped up by bigger companies.

Inclusiveness can become exclusionary when criteria are used to exclude people based on norms instead of merit, need, or safety.

"Customers are spending. AWS, Azure, GCP, NVIDIA, Palo and most other ISVs are all growing fast and CDW is not on the train or even in the station."

This is the real IT spend- Yes growth is definitely there. Just not for poor CDW who is struggling because of "uncertainty".

First-Quarter 2024 Sales Growth

CDW - 4.8 billion/ 19billion

Global Cloud Market Share For First-Quarter 2024

Next quarter wont happen either. Every single segment is down per the report but our modern peers are all up. The things that are hot like cloud, security, there is zero organic investment just squeezing. Sellers sell laptops and Cisco, which is another rudderless company. Every well known industry Focal Point, IGNW and Sirius leader has quit except the political animals or the weak players. Chris C, Sona C, Mark C, Bob K, Aletha N are all an industry laughing-stock with big fancy degrees and no industry credentials. Each and every one of them. Just ask anyone at any of the vendors what they do and it will be chirping crickets. They have ruined a good thing at CDW because they don't know how to evolve or even why. People are underpaid in the ranks and CDW on your resume means worse than nothing. Chris L won't make changes and lives in her echo chamber. It's lies that the economy is uncertain. Customers are spending. AWS, Azure, GCP, NVIDIA, Palo and most other ISVs are all growing fast and CDW is not on the train or even in the station. It's all very sad.

CDW stock is plummeting. Down 13.47 roughly 5.50%. It usually drops after layoffs are announced.

SMB falling short. Not shocking at all considering the stagnant and worthless leaders in place over there who will never be held accountable for anything. Way to go!

Not with this leadership in place.

When will they start making changes at the top? Why are they refusing to acknowledge it is the poor business decisions made by THEM that are destroying this company?
