Has anyone been in this role that would recommend it, especially based on the current commission structure? I am highly interested but it seems like the repeated feedback is the money you are said to be making with commission is never achievable.

Which business unit? GCS? Compensation is always going to be hard to achieve given the commission structure but I know many folks who make a lot of $$$.

Forget about that, they are looking to reduce the amount of commission you can get paid. in order to cut costs down even further.
