Nationwide has already announced they are reducing headcount by 5% over the next year. It’s going to be primarily in claims and underwriting because those are the largest departments and the ones most impacted by reduced business. This is only common sense.
Either strap in and go on the journey or look elsewhere. They will keep coming, it’s not a guess anymore.
