Does anyone know if GBD marketing will be affected by the 8/8 layoffs?

GBD will be hit the hardest, I am hearing 30 to 40% will be gone.
There will be a significant reduction in the sales force by 30% to free up capital for new acquisitions. Given the current leadership and lack of resources, achieving the existing goals has become nearly impossible. Consequently, mergers are seen as the only viable solution to meet these targets and growth projections.
There are three scheduled reduction-in-force (RIF) events for 2024 and the first quarter of 2025. Markets undergoing mergers or acquisitions will be the hardest hit. The hiring freeze in the operations was implemented due to a series of faulty investments and mergers orchestrated by Gail and her team of coorporate goons over the past 36 months.
The company is aggressively pushing forward with an AI strategy to minimize salaries and increase profits. These RIFs are driven by profitability, not workload, meaning that internal politics, rather than merit, will determine who stays and who goes.
Embrace the anxiety these changes bring, and we urge everyone to quiet quit, because your number is already in the box. Chances are you are already gone and do not know it! Another day in Hellevance!
Same with my team about the workload. Even so, leadership thinks they know better and I would not be surprised if we were all cut. While I don’t want to lose my job, unemployment sounds like relief from the current he-l.
I can tell you that workload does not matter when they decide who to RIF. Have experienced this first hand.
Workloads are so heavy on my team that it’s hard to imagine what we’ll do if anyone is let go. My manager seems oblivious to what’s going on and I’m honestly wondering if they’re cutting my entire team. It seems like we’ve been left in the dark about a lot of process changes lately and senior leadership has been checking in more and more about our workloads.
Everyone is being affected.
