Is this still happening? And if so, what's the ETA? We heard a lot of speculation about this a month ago, but now it's radio silence.

I would say that neither kd nor dxc are functional companies and merging them just makes twice the mess... But then on the other hand dxc exists from exactly that origin...
Crazy people looking for a fast buck at whatever price do exist and in this case it's kd backed by vulture capitalists... I'd say very much a move they'd make

Kyndryl would have to be hopping bonkers to buy this carcass of a company. But miracles do happen... both CSC and EDS/HPES folks have been witness to more bizzare mergers previously.
