When they state that you get 1.5 weeks per years of service does this mean years with the company or years in the dept your being RIFd from? What if you’ve changed depts at some point?

Its 1.5 weeks for every year with the company and it caps at 26 weeks I think, at least it used to.
Has anyone received the remaining 50% lump sum supplemental payout from finding a job externally before supp ran out? Was the remaining balance 50% payout based on the full salary amount or did the company deduct the state unemployment pay amount from the remaining balance first? Knowing this company, I am guessing they counted the state unemployment payment amount against you.
