We don't forget we have Professional Services. Our Professional Services are just overpriced and are CR-P. I would NEVER do HPC, AI, etc. using our Professional Services Teams. We use TSS for the entire rack and stack, cabling, etc. and contract with third parties for onsite deployment.

Anything outside of simple ProDeploy+ is a joke.

The notifications are not out in emea. It's always 2-3 weeks after the US that emea get notified

for most of europe - possibly all emea - the notifications are already out. thats why the previous person knows of a colleague and a few directors who are departing. several directors have already informed their teams that they're going.

I am in the ISG support org.

I personally know I am losing one of my co-workers and I know of three directors that are being let go that are all within the support org.
If you are customer facing you are likely more safe but I would be super surprised if I didn't see a percentage let go from support as well.
If you go to the Dell website now they have a virtual assistant that will even dispatch.
How much of our support volume now goes unassisted and untouched by a human?

All areas in Dell are being worked on for head count reduction. Like it or not, Dell is actively working on "AI" for all departments. So are other companies. Also, more offshoring will occur. Dell sees people can work from home. If you can work from home, you can work from anywhere and therefore hire cheaper employees. Not necessarily more competent workers but for sure cheaper. In this case, Dell doesn't go for competent workers, they go for cheaper.
