@jti: yes, valuable suggestion about saving up vacation (worked for me in 2020). See who's in the office next year on January 2, that'll telegraph who's going to EOI.

Probably. They might say you get one if you fall on your sword and EOI but not if you dont.

Save up your vacation, if you are at max you will get cashed out and that can be a slush fund.

Yes, but they'll be much smaller than 2020, as there's not a particular class of employees MW and HR are looking to get rid of.
