Tesla Just Replaced Ford As Morgan Stanley's 'Top Pick' In U.S. Autos

Adam Jonas really gave it to Farley on the last earnings call:

“Jim, you said that Ford is a different company than it was three years ago, but the stock market doesn’t really seem to agree with you at all on that…And m6 team just ran the numbers. Ford ranks 494 out of 500 companies in the SP for PE. Jim, do you think Ford’s stock is a good value?”

Farley: “Yes…”

How is it possible that Farley is still CEO?
Ford has consistently lost market share since he joined as VP Marketing 15 years ago!

The Ford Family lives off the dividend so while a 20% drop in share price isn't good, the stock has underperformed for years.

The Ford family can’t be too happy about losing 20% of their stock value in the last week.
Farley must have an unbreakable contract, or compromising photos of family members.

Farley’s comments shows exactly what is wrong with Farley: he’s just a “yes man.”
Whatever Bill Ford tells him, he says “Yes, Sir.”
His contract expires next year, I’ll be surprised if he lasts that long.
He’ll leave to “spend more time with his family,” who live a five hour flight away.
I’m sure the family is happier with that arrangement.
