Exxon will be hiring at the sites to replace many of the employees and contractors that left. They will also be hiring to replace all of the rejected clinton untouchables. Employees that were deemed too worthless to move to Houston. These positions will be at BTEC and with the Clinton pilot units. I can't believe contractors and applicants would want to work at such a dysfunctional place. If you are reading this do not do it. If you must know that you will not likely be respected or used to your full potential. You will not make it more than ten years with the constant outsourcing and job cuts. You have been warned. The posts on this site are real and many of us have experienced the same bad treatment at exxon. Believe me and us it is a terrible place to work at. It is only great or good for the few chosen ones.

New hires please read this. I and the others speak from experience. I have worked at other places and they are not as horrible as exxon. You are young and can make a choice. Remember try it and get out early because if you stay you are stuck. In your forties you must stay to reach the retirement d-mb. Before this you can leave. Look at the way exxonmobil treats the older workers because they will do the same to you. Most smart young people stay a few years get exxon on their resume, make a few contacts with other companies and then leave. Smart. Good luck to the newbies. I hope your ride is better than mine was.

A few lucky ones will be chosen as hipo. Many new hires will gamble and dream for that. But the truth is, sadly, 99% of them will be fodders of the PIP juggernaut within 5-10 years
