Anyone hearing the same? So far it looks to be payments. Anyone have any further info?

It would be easier to list the months without layoffs. There are none.
@8rxs+1tJARoUY, its for a specific business line, not company wide and not payments.
@8adu+1tJARoUY Is this news just applicable to Payments or company wide? More than half the company are contractors so that seems like a lot.
I was told on the down low that is was going to be 10% cuts in late September or early October. First they would cut projects, then all contractors, and finally "low performers" to meet that quota...at the same time, 8 new offshore/India teams have just been onboarded since June ready to take over the work.
The writing has long been on the wall - if American Express can be Outsourced Express, then US Bank can do the same thing and the hints has been floating for a while now
Are you hearing which areas of Elavon? I’ve heard the opposite of the “sinking ship” messaging so am curious.

I concur. This is an unethical bank with a garbage corp culture. For anyone who is passing by and reading this with the intent of applying at U.S. Bank at some point...look elsewhere.
Would be nice if l some local news channel did an investigation on what USB is doing. It's not illegal but it's unethical, especially when they are trying to portray an image that they do so much for the community!

Warn notice is easy to work around. Staggering layoffs, making sure they are spread across locations (and remote people don’t count as having a site) instead of a single site, keeping numbers just below threshold. Bank of America, Wells Fargo, and JPMC all do it too, to avoid negative public image.
There was a call today that covered the topic of hiring contractors. Bye bye investing in talent, hello renting.
my guess Elavon is a sinking ship and with new bosses they are shaking lot of tech orgs under Di lip. Hearing rumors about layoffs which might warrant WARN notice this time.
payments as in CBBO payments group in Owensboro?
Yes, Payments is currently identifying how many they will cut. Every year like clockwork. Will this ever end? Not with these terrible people placed at the top.
We may see fewer layoffs since they are hoping people quit due to RTO.
Historically and at least in payments, October seems to be the time for the big wave of layoffs. This year should be interesting since they are trying to cut expenses in a big way.
