Q issues are not Farley's responsibility. For anyone with more than 15yrs in the company can recognize the same names in Leadership positions i.e. VP, Directors, Chief Eng, Managers, People Leaders. The GSR's with expertise are long gone, LL's kept their musical chairs by cutting experienced GSR's. GSR's do the job all LL's are useless, they cannot change a light bulb they just give wrong instructions :-)
Farley would be better off by cutting all VP's & their LL's whose parts had warranty recalls. Including all MBB's that are just pathetic, they do not fix anything. Chucky Cheese is a big roadblock for Q improvements, including his Q Chief The Noodle who does not know anything about Design, is just a paper pusher. All Q fixes are now based on lots of paperwork with reduced TESTING, just CAE that is not even correlated to experimental models. Driveline Chief, is an old fa-t who has kept the job even though the most qualified GSR were fired.
If in the past LL's had a spine to halt wrong Upper Mgmt Directives, today all LL's are a bunch of spineless lizards trigger happy to bring people to HR. And those inverted deltas are the most incompetent LL's, they are Pitbull against GSR but they are sweet with their managers. PATHETIC leadership is the problem. If Farley want to fix it, he needs to do another Conway or Smart Redesign but now focusing on LL's performance. last Smart Redesign just removed the unwanted LL's but left all useless technical incompetent ones

When Dave Calhoun, starts his CEO job at Ford, you will quickly be thinking of Ford in total Freefall in the pitch of night, from a mile up with no parachute. Not even a modified 1974 Ford Pinto with a propeller and wings attached is going to save Ford under Dave Calhoun's region of doom. Like Calhoun did at Boeing, at Ford his first order of "Dave's Way of Doing Business" will be cancelling all Ford employee Pensions, for those that have one and gut Retiree medical benefits.
