Any other people forced in office having trouble fitting in exercise? FOW has taken away about 3.5 hours each day (10+ hours a week) in prep and travel time…..more than a full work day! And no real ability to walk, get some sunshine or exercise at my office. So frustrating!!!

If your office has a gym, you should definitely take advantage of it. I use ours every time I’m in the office and it makes me feel better about coming in.
FYI - You do not earn the incentive for Mindfulness from my understanding. You only earn the incentive for actual exercise this year.
Designated WAH (dependent upon band level) in same roles and on the same team can work from anywhere - vacation home, traveling (hotel, airbnb), car, etc. at any time. Designated in office have zero flexibility 3 days a week, must ask permission to do anything different those 3 days, and must take PTO do to the exact same thing a designated WAH can do any day of the week. This is inequitable. How is the company getting away with this?
be happy you jobs what? try to use complete sentences on your next low-effort trolling attempt. thx.
When I graduated many years ago, I was quite fit. Then, I went into an in-office job where I was stuck in a cube all day. Slowly, I built a big ole' gut. People commented I was getting fat.
After a couple years of that, I got a remote job. I've made it a habit to take short workout breaks in my home gym throughout the day. I have visible abs now and people comment how fit I look despite being well past the middle age mark.
Yeah, not going back to that cube, if I can help it.
Very telling that some comments view exercise as a privilege rather than a fundamental part of being a healthy human being. American workers are so whipped its incredible.
This what y’all worried about?!?? Be happy you jobs!!!
I can totally relate! I’ve struggled to make it to the gym. I’m much more exhausted on office days due to getting up 2 hours earlier & the stress & anxiety from insane traffic! Due to insomnia, I barely get any sleep for that 3 day period. I’ve gained weight & stay tired all the time. I’ve visited the office gym but that’s not practical due to being backlogged with work. Plus I try my best not to work extra hours like I did consistently before FOW. I carve out time on my home office days for my workouts now. I wish everyone the best of luck with managing this as I know how difficult it is and how much worse off our vitality is because of it.
Can't relate! You seem out of touch with the real conversation.
I understand but I would look at it another way. It’s one of the last ways they have left us to interact with one another in a positive way and you get incentives to take care of yourself even if it’s mindfulness as your only activity. Pls take care of yourselves. It’s hard every day for me and I used to enjoy my job as I’m sure many of you have but these days are difficult.
Not really, luckily the office I’m in has walking trails outside and a gym but I would struggle if I didn’t have those options
