Judging from testimonies on our board. If nothing else, it obviously improved morale. I, for one, am exceptionally happy with the arrangement. Since I’m not close to retirement, like some other folks who are already anticipating profound sadness due to parting with offices, I will have to go for a soul-crushing change of jobs. But I’ll ask for that comfy chair to take it with me.

When they finally adopted RTO, all the whiners suddenly went mute. Feeding ducks with a river of tears, the noise level dropped, and energy levels skyrocketed! Let's laugh at the crybabies.
I mean if you’re customer facing its not really all that flexible to be remote is it? Most of us aren’t customer facing.
I don’t have a ton of sympathy for folks being asked to come back to the office. Some of us never had the luxury to be at home to begin with. Is it disruptive to what you’re accustomed to? No doubt, but a lot of us were customer facing in the height of the pandemic while many of our bosses were at home.
You’re still gainfully employed so just roll with it. Not saying any of this to be rude but it is what is at the point.
Everyone hating on RTO is self oriented, nothing more. Nothing wrong with thinking about yourself first, but don't pretend it's anything bigger than your personal preferences. Larger portions of the employee base (and the vast majority of humans) never got a free pass to work from home during covid. Many had to go into a branch every day. They are all fine. Even if you don't like RTO, your not the special in relation to the universe of people that never got that privilege.
One of my coworkers joked about giving everyone in his office COVID, so there's that. Yep, super great. I appreciate the dripping sarcasm of the original poster.
Everyone should protest by writing your pronouns on a sheet of 8.5”x11” paper with company letterhead. Coordinate a day to send them all to Andy C. Via interoffice mail
There is no shortage of bootlickers, a--kissers in this bank. When I submitted a negative comment on their leadership call in the past, I got downvoted hard. Some of these "happy happy people" who LOVE being around people are thinking more about themselves than anyone else.
