Figured I would create a central post to discuss the nonsense today.

Around 5k employees moving to hcsc after internal transfer and voluntary separation or forced Layoffs
Does anyone know how many employees from Medicare will transition to HCSC mentioned at the open mic? I missed that part
Here’s something to be aware of too. While they treat loyal workforce like sh-t, it’s within their power to also change your email address to one you no longer use. So when you announce your departure, taken action on any stock first. Otherwise you risk notifications going to an old email prior to migration and not your personal account, so you easily miss sight of shares slipping through your fingers for nill. Oh yes, it happened. I made sure I had my current info and they input an email with a former name I have not used in years!
What benefits are actually guaranteed for the first year? After attending all these different meetings, it seems that only medical/insurance benefits are what they’re negotiating.
They’ve been unclear on guaranteed employment for the first year; guaranteed salary or guaranteed severance…. It feels like we won’t know anything for sure until after the deal is done.
Actually, the same six execs have downvoted all of the comments that express a negative view, lol. We see you guys.
Hats off to the six top executives who downvoted my comment about MA not being a viable insurance model years from now.
As always giving us the run around, and if you look at the HCSC Layoff comments their employees are not happy and just had 2 days of PTO taken away and only allowing 16hrs of carryover for PTO that just took place, as well as they are upset with low merit %'s but top executives had 20% increase
wow it's way worse than Cigna
I just see it as no direct answer is our answer. It’s just unfortunate that some who have given a decade or more to this company can feel this insecure and abandoned. It isn’t just a job to some people, it is their life. After a year, we will probably take a hit in pay and our tenure. It’s corporate america, nothing is surprising and you either look for something else or wait it out and see.
MA isn’t even a viable insurance model five or ten years from now.
I still have never been informed whether or not I’m going to HCSC. I emailed Tim May about a month ago asking about it and never received a reply. So much for support.
why can’t leaders share these timeframes ahead of time? If we are getting announcements and information next week, within the next 30 days etc they should let us know it’s coming so people stop worrying because we have 0 information.
They know most of the answers to your questions. It’s risky to be honest because they know if you know some of the truth, you will look for other jobs and the deal isn’t done, yet. They have to maintain a business in the meantime.
Some of it, they don’t care. Why would they care about pay changes at HCSC? Or what their severance package looks like?
These meetings are a business tactic.
Can people quit asking d-mb questions? Someone was literally asking about ID cards. Ask your lead or manager or something.

Interesting how they gave advice to give it a chance based on how great HCSC culture is, when they've given zero information on their culture. Senior leaders may have the inside info of the type of company HCSC is but it's been shared with no one else.
I like how brave that band 2 was to ask about coming back and how Tim said Cigna “would not be actively recruiting” employees that conveyed.
