Has anyone heard of changes to plans in Tech? I was told unofficially that I was on the August list but now I am not. The news is devastating and I don’t know what happened. I’d like to know if this is a trend in tech, perhaps due to the fact that tech is a disaster and they are trying to limit impact.

Best advice out there. Only thing I would add is we should all be socking money away every pay day. Never know how long we'll be out of work after the axe falls.

I can wait until October to get a nice payoff, but I don’t need to work, so I’m not waiting around this CF for March!
Predictable WF technology leadership, always overreacting to events. Pushing pause on layoffs and requiring additional controls to get work done is not a remedy for long term obstacles.
And, ironic how they now need the employees that they can give two shts about. Flaws in the relocation strategy are numerous.
I was also told I was on the August list and then removed. I'm fine putzing around and getting paid while they figure things out. It's nice to just let go and not care of things get done; very low stress. Not looking forward to finding a new job, it sounds rough out there. Just do the bare minimum, don't do anything stupid to get fired, and your day will come when it comes.
I head that the August list was moved to October. (Tech). Unclear if this is a Location Strategy 'Wave' or not, but this was in the context of LS
Seems like a delay in location strategy for Tech. Waiting around to see what happens. Due to all the issues, it may be longer than we think.
I was also told Q3 my job "may be affected by location strategy" and then watched roughly 40% of my team (the majority in core locations) get chopped yesterday. Asked my manager how this affected the script he read to me and the answer I got was "TBD".
Tech here. Absolute cluster.
Tech is being run by clueless folks. I will be surprised if they make it through next year
