Intel just decided to release 2 gens of CPUs that have a 50% crash rate and climbing due to degradation. People want they're money back and corporations are loosing money daily due to CPU failure rate. What do you mean "This is not on PAT" he is the current CEO of the company who just released millions of sh-t processors. History will remember the name Pat Gelsinger for this.

If this is the biggest failure in years then we’re doing fairly well. At least we aren’t catching fire like amd chips did. But no excuses, this should have been caught.

Also, this isn’t on Pat. It’s a BK design, and it’s on validation anyway.

It's not a hardware issue or a microcode bug. It's a feture. With the new Intel CPU's you have the excitement of not knowing if or when it will crash or completely die. Intel has built in several key components to ensure this excitement. Degradation due to voltage (melting) and degradation due to built in oxidized vias (Bad FAB manufacturing) Evan more fun is that your get to guess which issue is crashing your computer.
