Lawler can spin it however he likes, but it doesn’t change the disappointing numbers.
Did anyone really pay attention to what Lawler said? Based on comments here, it does not appear so.
He detailed how Ford+ is working and it's successes. Don't paint a negative picture when there is much positive at Ford.
Just curious ... Any idea how much the LL4, LL3 and LL2 levels make in base pay and bonuses ? Cutting needs to start right there ...
I still follow this forum as it was useful a couple of years ago. Just glad I did get laid off last year and got a job quickly, I don’t think it will be easy for those impacted over the next few weeks.
Well. We are definitely a fleet company now.
2nd half doesn't look to be any better. Days of inventory continues to rise. Incentives to move inventory will cut further into profits. And our quality is still total garbage.
Get those resumes ready.
- Something doesn’t jive.
its almost like we have a bunch of buffoons running this place, but that can't be right...can it?
whatever happened to the guy we got from JD Powers to help improve quality?? Was that all a show for nothing?
OP, being a good Ford manager, would you like to “recall” your projection. Keep drinking that Farley Kool-Aid.
Maybe this earnings debacle will speed up the layoff timeline?
Maybe the experienced people knew just a little after all....
Confirmation that Farley is a silly rabbit and should not be allowed to drive a race car on the company's dime. Only BEVs to drive for him, from now on.
Good luck recruiting “top talent”.
You fired most that you had b abuse they were over 50. That should be a warning to anyone in their 40s considering a move to Ford.
Who would want to leave a secure job to work at Ford now?
That is over a 30% miss. For a Fortune 500 company? Something doesn’t jive.
Based on earnings report, stock is down almost 12% after hours….
It’s always interesting to see how Ford execs try to sell our results internally vs what outsiders say.
Ford execs: Ford+ is totally working guys!
CNBC: Ford shares plummet 11% after massive earnings miss
Sh-t like this is why there’s no trust in the execs and why employees are pessimistic about Ford’s future outlook. It’s time for candidness from our executives and to start treating the workforce like adults again.
Maybe they’ll confirm Farley is exiting. Undo the poor EV decisions and have hope with hybrids.
EPS .47 vs .68 expected. Warranty repairs.
Remember all those “quality”classes we had to take in 2023? Something like 40 hours worth.
I guess not.
Oof.
@1mt They always love to blame warranty cost... idk it seems like taking a $130k bath on every EV that goes out the door might have something to do with low earnings. But that would reflect poorly on Fartley's decision making, blaming engineers is easier
Ouch!
EPS .47 vs .68 expected. Warranty repairs.
🤣
I don't see any reason to hope for the worst? That's not the point of this forum is it?
Thanks for a good laugh!
