It's pretty terrible. No actual leaders, and self serving, gas lighting, management.
I’m more surprised by how members get easily cajoled into buying terrible annuity lmao.
Why would life execs bother worrying about that whole vs term nonsense? Life company is really a misnomer after all. It should be called the non member annuity company.
You know your company is about to see the end of its life when your life company executive team doesn’t know the difference between whole life insurance and term life insurance…
Compliance problems from failures of senior executives and the board of directors? Check.
Gut the company due to said compliance problems from leadership? Check.
Whoops, guess we have to act like a publicly traded company while we're just privately directed by a bunch of useless sociopaths...
Where was the concept of "over investing in leadership" from these children when it mattered?
At least reading these comments tells me I'm not alone in what I'm seeing and e experiencing. I dont understand how leaders can bully and mistreat employees. It's so wrong and brutally unkind and devisive and manipulative.
Seems like people i never heard of get promoted or ‘chosen’ for senior positions…
So true man. Plus micro managing by Managers on regular basis whether a task has to be Story or Todo or Bug.
And Executives trying convince everyone of us that they gonna make USAA best place to work lol !

Short answer:
An empty suit C-suite outsourcing all decisions to McKinsey and Blackrock
Alot of slack ‘fun time trivia’ in aml…..
And its not investigators…..
I remember a time when I used to enjoy my job. That hasn't been true for a while now.
