Thread regarding Alteryx layoffs

Revenue Operations Leader accelerated the demise of Alteryx

She accelerated the demise of Alteryx. She had access to CRO, did everything in the back office and sc--wed the entire company. No one wants to work for her. Does not understand GTM , arrogant leader. It is a revolving door in her organization. You are better off working in support than working in her organization.

'December is a holiday month; they won't lay off employees due to concerns about mental health risks.'

To be fair, most people who have made it through the last four rounds of layoffs are probably considered a risk. Especially if they are not in leadership.

Correct, but it is going to take some time to fully implement and complete.

January, February, or March seems likely. The new CEO has been in discussions with Alteryx for three months, is fully informed, and has a plan ready.

December is a holiday month; they won't lay off employees due to concerns about mental health risks.

It's underway.

Correct, but it is going to take some time to fully implement and complete.

But....it's definitely happening and well underway. Come Feb/March or before, things are going to be very different in Marketing.

Honestly, I hope PE brings in an entirely new Marketing team. Y'all know who the problem is.

It's underway.

Revenue Operations leader was brought in to “show us all how to do it”. Her playbook was a wrecking ball.

Blaming RevOps again? Amusing. How about highlighting what the former "Scamfacta" VP of Demand Gen has actually contributed since she joined?

The issue isn’t RevOps—it’s that Scamfacta leader (Digital Marketing, Digital, Demand Gen, Web) who’s been spreading lies and creating division since the disastrous acquisition. K@nde K@yne's refusal to take accountability and the number of people she’s pitted against each other is sickening.

Our GTM leader’s career trajectory outshines every single leader under the interim CMO. Don't get it twisted.

Demand Gen and Marketing leaders have spent over a year blaming RevOps and the GTM leader. They've also directed much of the blame toward the content team and its writers for poor engagement. Now, the content team is gone—there are no writers left.

Honestly, I hope PE brings in an entirely new Marketing team. Y'all know who the problem is.

Revenue Operations leader was brought in to “show us all how to do it”. Her playbook was a wrecking ball. She whacked all the previous leaders that commanded loyalty and got things done. She crushed the culture by turning everyone into her minions. She is political and divisive. She micromanages from drama to drama. No long term planning…appalling communication to those of us who remain. Most of us are looking for the exit. Clear sign of how bad she is lies in the fact that she hasn’t brought anyone in from her past. Proves no one wants to follow her

This site has become a circular firing squad. While I do not disagree with some of the assessments of leadership, the real issue is that Alteryx is dying because we are being out innovated by MSFT and other companies. It did not have to be this way but that is where we are right now. Yes, leadership can be better but it does not change this truth that we are not keeping pace and will never catch up. Pricing or magic documents will not save us. Our best hope is that a company like MSFT wants to put us out of our misery and ki-l the product while getting some good customers. I think that may be why we have been so slow to bring in new leaders. Keep the team small so it is easier to injest in M&a.

We need a leadership reset right now. Hoping there is a new CEO soon who can bring in her own team and get these fools out to the unemployment line.

CM is incompetent, arrogant and has no clue of the business and does not even understand revenue operations, her skills is to run every company to the ground and join the next one. look at the track record.

The one from the shadows? CM? I can't think of any others, but do know that the current list of senior directors reporting into her are just there while they look and hire their replacements.

They've been dealt a bad hand. Never met CM, but heard she was 'from the shadows'.

How long before she's gone? There is no way this place stays the same by Christmas.

Classic leader who masks insecurity by beating up on her team. Unfortunate because she had good people who need a little coaching and guidance to be great, but she can’t get them there.

Hope we get tucked into another company soon

She is not competent, nor does she understands the business.

Could not agree more. And now she’s running the place into the ground. Bring back Dean!
