If it’s a redeployment meeting; welcome to customer service. Ugh…..
They do their lay offs on Thursday's. It's been almost a year for me.
I see a lot of suffering in these posts. I understand as I’ve been on this rollercoaster for many years here. Focus on the thoughts you can control, everything else will happen as they are suppose happen. Don’t let 1 job change who you are. There are millions out there and it may be a long road. Then again it may not.
Rule of thumb your name would not have been on the tribute list if they wanted to keep you anywhere. This is just a dog and pony show so do not get hopes up. Most likely some legal angle see we gave them a chance but skills did not match bye now.
Redeployment is a joke. Seriously, it’s not helpful. You’ll apply and the redeployment specialist will email the recruiter and tell them you applied, but the recruiters and hiring managers still want you to meet 100% of the must haves and the preferred and if you take a look at some of the REQs out there, that’s a tall task. Moral of this story. Don’t let them get your hopes up on the redeployment team becuase they’re not helpful.
I was told impacted employees will receive meeting invites to offer them services to help with resume building and redeployment opportunities.
Why wouldn’t I sign my severance agreement if I’m not seeking to be redeployed?
DONT SIGN THE SEVERENCE AGREEMENT
Post from TheLayoff.com Why would someone say that !!!!
You can quit
Just unreal way to treat employees
I don’t think it’s a redeployment meeting. Those are scheduled later in the day and it’s an hour long. I don’t know what this new meeting is about.
Truth!! Enough already. Sounds like it’s to make them feel better.
Me too. My whole team has this! Is this redeployment? LET US GO! I want off this roller coaster. We barely survived the chaos of today. Make it STOP.
