Yes, but are our DEI numbets improving? Did we lay off enough straight white males?
Just got my new MacBook Pro, and I am going to pick on Monday.

IT is going to upgrade everyone to new MacBook pros starting next week
It was pretty funny on Friday at NRM since every computer that was on the network was down. Some people came in and then went home.
Oh wait most people do not even come in on Fridays. It was a ghost town with very few people helping.
Ring IT? Sounds good but I reached for my desk phone and remembered the company took it away because it was oh so expensive for poor downtrodden Seagate in dire need. Then I remembered that Seagate forced me to purchase a new smart phone after my old one died with my own funds to generously support the business operations while company hardship also meant I got a 10% pay cut as thanks. No problem. Hey if the company needs to use my car during the day to make deliveries without gassing it back up I'm happy to help my cash poor employer that claims it so bad it needs handouts and the use of employee owned assets just to get by and survive. Sure, I'm a team player!
IT is too busy crafting clever fake fishing emails to trick you into clicking something so they can tell you you've been a naughty naughty little employee. Business continuity planning for a major outage was never a thought that even occurs. Just copy some fix found elsewhere on the internet into an email and send it out to blue screened computer people who can't use their computer to read it. LOL
Who’s the CIO again?
And big D think’s software writers are typists on a type writer. Eat this b***h, a typist ki-led your business of spinny rust.
I giggled at the instructions on deleting the offending file. Whomever thought it was a good idea to have employees boot up in safe mode, go through all the work to get past bitlocker and then finally delete a file needs to have their head examined. Engineers can probably work the problem but factory floor equipment is where the potential disaster awaits.
We only have two IT people on staff at our building. One had the day off, the other is near tears.
