Is anyone being offered a bonus to stay for an agreed amount of time? 3 or 6 months.

Is it worth it ? Feel like it’s set up, yes get your bonus. But once they are done with you bye !
Depends on how well you train or how fast AI is trained
So the purpose is just to pay you to stay and train your replacement ?? What happens after ? Is there any chances that you stay after they pay you?
I have. It doesn't protect your position. You don't get paid up front. They can make the payments however they want but if you leave the position you're in either internal or external if you've received any money you have to pay it back. Same if you are fired. Every bonus I've had has said if you are affected by a RIF they have to pay you the whole bonus. So it doesn't protect you but does protect your bonus and if you are important enough to keep you likely wouldn't be on a list for reductions. I would assume it would be unlikely the company would want to pay your bonus out but not have you work too. Who knows with this company though.
Stay to train your younger cheaper replacement? Haven't heard of it here.

"Retention Bonus" - Yes. Have been offered one and have offered to team members when leadership felt they were a flight risk. Had one person resign on the day that the bonus was paid, too.
