How is it known 8/8 RIF's will take place? My manager too stopped doing our 1:1 and delegated this to our lead from June thru the end of the year. This doesn't feel right!! I am sure she knows something she is not sharing with us, so I expect she will bail and leave us to take the fallout.

I heard some people got "glitch" emails on 6/7 telling them they were being RIFed due to declining membership that they had to take back really quick, and membership was magically back up. Assuming these folks will be on the 8/8 list.
I left this horrible place in December and 8/8 is my last day of NP school and the day I leave for Aruba! Good Riddance to this place! Leaving was the best thing I ever did! :-)
Does anyone know if retirement packages will be offered? If so what is in the packages and who qualifies?
I was told managers provided HR with the names of associates in early June for 8/8 rif. Not sure of the validity as this was not told to me by a manager.
NO, Managers are allowed to select anyone they want. There is no rule.

To any people leaders out there, does HR provide a list of employees to consider for layoff based on past performance review rankings, salary range, years of service and/or the system monitoring the company does, or is the manager allowed to cut whoever they want/dislike based on personal preference?
8/8 is confirmed because some managers have already been notified to start ranking their associates who are on the chopping block.

Your manager herself may have been rif'd so if she bails, it may not be her choice.
If she's reassigned her 1:1s, she's probably on the list.

Also, 8/8 -9/6 isn’t even a full month 👎
A former employee here who was caught in the last RIF I can confirm 8/8 as I had to before leaving identify member of my team to be riffed on 8/8 with a last day of 9/6.
Either that or doesn't want to answering questions about upcoming layoffs....
