Thread regarding ConocoPhillips layoffs

Question

I interviewed for a job in Texas and my status changed to "In Progress". What does that mean?

It’s simply a status that comes with the applicant tracking system- that means they weren’t creative enough to change it to anything else.

I'm not trying to he unkind, but if it's been more than a week since your interview and you haven't received that call or email, you didn't get the position for some reason. Keep interviewing with not only COP but with others in the industry who who feel may enjoy working for and your skillset(s) are compatible. Best of luck.

That means the application process is in progress, it doesn't indicate wether you got the job or not. Most likely they are still deciding who to hire. Good luck, it is a great place to make a career.
