I hope to I get a severance wfr package. There are so many better employers. Our team had 2 people hit out of 12. Dell is controlling P&L by setting quotas to high to control pay.

They removed 5 out of my top 10 customers to Corporate, without changing my quota. What's the point? You want me to find the same type in 3 months which I took 4 years to build? Go f yourself.
Dell knows what it it doing. It's creating an atmosphere of doubt so that people will leave. Good people or bad people, I believe they don't care. Once the layoffs stop, people will know and will have to examine the new steady state of affairs. If the promise of AI is true, Dell will try every they can to lower the personnel level. Of course, like any company, they may over rotate but it doesn't matter. It's too bad, it used to be so much fun. Seriously, a lot of fun.
Once you leave do not drag the Dell mindset with you. There are companies being managed by mature adults who will not tolerate the moral rot that Dell has become. What you learned at Dell will not be applicable in almost any other innovative tech company. Filing out spreadsheets and inflating sales activity is not real selling. Grown adults gossiping like middle schoolers is not a virtue anywhere else but Dell. Prepare for a moral reboot and a chance at a real career.
Don't worry OP, your wish will come true. Obviously you have a compelling case and your Manager should know by now (we can hope!)
Even if you blow out your number good luck getting paid. Dell is known for gangster/thug tactics of suddenly capping over performers and sticking them with a higher quota the next half. The company is rotten to the core. Not sure how you managed 12 years.
