DXC needs to offer early retirement to those in the US workforce. Employees would run to accept.

They're probably waiting for you d-mb fu----s to resign , it's cheaper. No one will notice the difference
@7ivi+1t6i7pOm Thank you, but if you might get a years paid to be laid off, then keep quite and do your job as your lucky to be in that position.
Redundancy in the UK depends on which company you were in. Some people nearing retirement would easily get a years salary with first 30k tax free. This is more than statutory redundancy pay (legal requirement) but is contractual. That's why some people want to get VR.
There is no retirement benefits from DXC in the US. What do you all get on the other side of the pond?
Also what is this VR cr-p. In the US we get a max of 8 weeks pay if we are laid off, it’s not worth waiting and is better to just change jobs as quick as you can to get out of this sh-t hole
I quit in 2023 , best thing. Unlimited vacation that I can actually take ? 3 pay increases since I quit and no more stress that I will be laid off everyday
You can retire anytime you want, you’re not a ducking slave ! You don’t like working at DXC then change jobs.
If you don’t leave then you deserve everything you don’t get from DXC.
What ducking crybaby
The thing is for me, VR equals layoff. The payment I will receive from DXC for voluntarily letting me go versus laying me off is exactly the same :)
One I choose to go, the other they choose - cost is the same to DXC. Not all countries are like this however...
Wake up babies. Why would they give you a VR? They are on the right track now - aka weeding out all the middle managers in the US (lot of level 8s) and flattening the org.
If they offered VR to anyone in their 60’s or even late 50’s in the UK, there will be a mass exodus of people.
There won’t be a DXC left
They can just lay people off that will be much cheaper. Companies that don't care about their employees don't do things like offer early retirement
