Left 3 years ago. Work for hyvee 15 years. Hyvee for first 10 years was well ran company. Manager actually managed and new their customer base. I see hyvee carries top end steaks. At 40 dollars a pound i need 300000 plus year job to buy it. Maybe top 1 percenters can afford it. Hyvee has been going thru changes. Not saying change isnt needed in all business. I shop hyvee as my 3 store now. Basically i spend 50 a month instead of 500 month at hyvee. High turnover. Lack of staff and when walk up to service counter its takes time to get waited on. I not blaming the employees behind counter. When there use to be 4 poeple behind. 2 wait on folks and 2 work on production. Hyvee is now a production based business. More like a walmart. I hear poeple make comments how long wait at checkouts are now. I wish hyvee employees the best. The culuture of company has changed is my only comment.
Lol truth!
We will still be doing this quarters inventory for another month since corporate can't figure out how to run their new program. Such a sh-t show.
I hate to burst the bubble but a major fact in all of this is no one teaches anything about inventory at the stores anymore which in turn leads to employees not being as knowledgeable about how the job is supposed to be executed. Hy-Vee has lost an extreme amount of quality people and it’s all beginning to show. Good Luck with your RED numbers today Hy-Veeland.
I'm not saying the grosses won't be better but if sales are down, backrooms are full, and there are outs on the shelves due to backroom being full then the grosses won't really matter that much. I just want the company to do better and actually let the stores run themselves rather than forcing everything under the sun on them.
Wouldn’t the stores who absorbed the inventory have better grosses as I’m sure they didn’t pay reg cost for those items. #smh
We'll im at one of the 3 stores that's closing so our inventory numbers are going to be out of wack. Also the area stores inventory won't be very good either due to having to absorb so much of our inventory. I also think that if the numbers aren't good at all for the company that more closings are on the way.
