Word to the wise….Liquidate that PTO as quickly as you can and have a talk with your financial advisor about that CC stock.

Use that PTO. The severance package only pays out up to 120 hours, so if you have more- you lose it. In hindsight, I’d make sure I never had more than that- especially with the rumor of future layoffs (August/November).
Always stay connected with your advisor…This poster is correct…unless you feel you are a self proclaimed advisor yourself…then have at it.
Do not move your 401k if you have vesting to still complete. You move it you lose your vest. This is for the 401k only. I thought I could move it like the RSUs and I got sc--wed out of a few thousand. Per Schwab when I moved my 401k I waived my vest schedule and those funds went back to Crown. I wish I had known that before taking the advice of a financial planner.
I had this conversation with 3 different directors a few years ago. They were absolute livid that I sold my crown stock as soon as it hit my account. One of them was a finance guy too. Hope they eventually changed their thought process.
No need to talk to a financial advisor. They'll tell you to put into some security like an annuity and charge you 3% a year for doing so. Go do some research and put it into a index fund.. yes I listen to buffet
You mean you keep the CCI stock??? Other than the RSUs, you should trade that immediately. Don’t keep your retirement plan tied to the company’s performance, because if you do, and the company goes south, your paycheck and a portion of your 401k goes with it.
Thank you Mr. Buffet
