So here’s what happens when you turn in an ethics complaint here on a toxic manager & work environment. An employee relations team members talks to a few people in the department to see if there are trends & then presents the information to the manager. So basically nothing happens, let’s be real.

Ethics is, and always has been a joke. Story time: More than a decade ago there was a male employee who came up on one of those s-xual offender alerts that alert by address and proximity when you sign up for alerts. A number of employees contacted the Ethics hotline about it when they saw his registry photo and s-xual battery conviction in the alert ..... The Response? HR: "We know about it, he has rights too"..... I wish I was making this up, I really do. See had he robbed his victim after the s-xual as--ult, then he would have been charged with robbery and then he would have been eligible for termination... but because s-xual as--ult wasn't apparently a crime HR was concerned with, he kept his job.
Yes. The lady in Ethics said she would present the “trends” from the interviews & make recommendations but she has no authority so she can’t guarantee any changes.
Ethics works for the lawyers so they can not find anything because it would open Anthem up for a lawsuit. Ethics is a joke. A fake Department to look good on paper. It’s all lies.
Anthem and ethics are antithetical.
Agreed. My immediate manager was subject of a HR investigation this year, and they set up a private call with me to discuss the issues I have had with her. I have no idea who instigated the investigation, but I was interviewed as part of the investigation. Absolutely nothing came from it. She is still here and wasn't fired. Why even bother?
Ethics couldn't find manure in a cow pasture.
If you want to succeed and get promoted at this company, you need to leave your morals and ethics at the door upon entry.
It’s ridiculous.
