It’s never my fault, it’s always their fault.
Tbh, that's this place's motto too
I don't know about quiet but if I could find a job that would pay me a good salary I'd be gone.
It’s never my fault, it’s always their fault.
Motivational sign in SB’s office.
Silence isn't golden at work. It's a warning sign - a sign that leadership does not have a plan. Other warning signs All the good people are leaving - either by choice or being pushed out. No one is sharing feedback - because of the fear of being labeled a trouble maker. People are pointing fingers - leadership blaming the front line. Communication is weak - no transparency. Mistakes are punished - cutting payroll budgets because of the lack of proper leadership. Ideas get shot down - it's the company way or the highway. Leaders don’t listen - just do as your told and all will be fine. Gossip is rampant - this happens when their is no transparency - folks are left trying to figure out the whys. Trust is missing - not being able to trust leadership not only causes stress it also produces low morale.
It's a never ending cycle.
"Make them deal with the blacklash" -- they won't deal with it. lol You are on the frontlines, and if there is one thing Follett higher ups are good at? It is avoiding their issues and making their already overworked store staff deal with it their problems. :)
"It's summer and it's just you"
Ok, valid. HOWEVER, if things aren't getting done, this isn't even on the managers anymore. This is on follett 100%. Can't wait to try to explain to the campus contacts why we don't have the books or supplies they need for classes when only one person is working in the store.
Just gonna throw follett and our RM under the bus. Make them deal with all the backlash we will get from students and instructors alike.
Bovine fecal matter to you. The wheels are starting to lose their lugs, one at a time. Time is coming…
It's summer and it's just you. That's why🤣
