Please note that per the Schweb, 2 weeks notice is appreciated but it is not required.
I resigned late last year, I called my manager to tell her then sent her an email advising that I was resigning and what my last day would be. I did stay on the full 2 weeks.
You are not obligated to tell them why you’re leaving, trust me, Schwab wants people to leave, they couldn’t care less why. That’s absolutely a personal preference, I was cool with my manager so I told her but you are under no obligation to do so.
They will mail you a box with instructions on how to return your equipment.
As noted below you will get an email from HR which is an exit survey, I also had HR follow up on my comments but I never responded. I didn’t see a point in responding because if they didn’t care while I was employed there I’m positive they don’t care now.
I’m happy you’re getting out of that cesspool! Congratulations to you! It’s been amazing for me!
