Thread regarding Intel Corp. layoffs

Most Management Is Bad Management

One of the biggest surprises I got after graduating from college was discovering that contrary to expectations, MOST management was bad management. That's why something like 40% of businesses that survive their infancy don't make it to their 5th anniversaries - and far fewer make it to their twentieth's. Egos get inflated, toes get stepped on, and turf wars start with the company itself being the ultimate casualty. If you want to learn how to defend yourself from turf wars and lay offs, check out the Hatchet Man's Playbook. It's definitely worth your time!

Please don’t compare Intel management to other companies. Our company has good managers and makes a lot of profits for employees and shareholders.

Start-ups are a calculated risk. A failed start-up is no indication of bad management.
COVID ki-led a bunch of start-ups. What manager saw that coming?
