Sharp re label

Corp is presently testing Sharp products as part of a strategic partnership in North America.

Look to see xerox go on the offensive with hiring after June packages are offered.

Lucrative financial package from Sharp that will allow Xerox to stay low price

“ Corp is presently testing Sharp products …”

What products?

Be more specific?

The Fuji Business Solutions next generation Iridesse? Sharp BP-1200C/S?

“Sharp and Ricoh have working together for two years now.”

  • I think it’s just Ricoh and Toshiba for now? But a Japanese 3-way might might be coming.

Saw a story of people reselling Dollar Store items on-line. Xerox immediately came to mind.

Remember when Xerox considered competitor’s products as junk.
Now we need them as partners .

Xerox just a dealer now. Another useless layer of margin between manufacturer and the customer. No/negative value in the VAR.

Isn't SharpUSA partnering with Fuji Business Solutions and selling the next-generation Iridesse, Versant and C / D Series Xerox products?

Anytime you see the words “strategic partnership”, you can be sure it’s nothing.

Even if there would be a partnership with Sharp, under what scenario would we see a substantial number of new jobs? Hire people for... what? Unless Sharp will manufacture our production print products (Baltoro and follow-on products), I don't see what Xerox is doing to stay in the production market (other than just selling Fuji machines).
