- there is no severance for retirement
- they are named defendants, not expert witnesses for MetLife. There is no payment for defending yourself.
Their severance agreement requires you to participate in litigation against MetLife.
Love to hear someone ask about this at Black Jacket's going away Lets Talk Live.
Can you imagine retiring from MetLife and being dragged back into a trial for this like Podlogar, Kandarian, Hijkoop?
I assume the company has to pay them a consulting fee or something for being deposed and grilled at trial.
Or maybe this is why Podlogar is pulling the ripcord. If that works, maybe Khalaf pull the ripcord too. How much money does a person need?
No, it isn't old news. It wasn't settled. It's going to trial!
Can I get this on court TV? It'll be more interesting than the OJ trial.

That's old news, isn't it?
But it is an entertaining read: https://casetext.com/case/moazzaz-v-metlife-inc
Is something happening?
Moazzaz v. Metlife, Inc.
Are they going to sell the company? Who would buy it?
What is causing this discussion about a new CEO?
Not sure.
Khalaf has been CEO since 2019. A five year contract is common.
Board might be tired of the New Horizons bullsh-t and 9.3% earnings declines.
Not to worry. We have a new slogan. Raise the bar.
Oh, wasn't that last year?
What is causing this discussion about a new CEO?
What if the most recent board member becomes CEO?
You heard it here first.
Quits suddenly! I like this. Please elaborate. Due to securities fraud?
they announce new CEO immediately if at all possible.
If CEO quits suddenly, then maybe acting CEO.
