People generally don’t do sarcasm on this site, so I can’t tell if this post and the replies are:

  1. tongue in cheek. If so, they’re a big step up and you have all gotten so much better at keeping a straight face.
  2. written by “I believers”. If so, remember what happened the last lot.
  3. written by Avaya. This looks the most likely answer.

That's super cool about sponsoring our kids sporting teams! I assume there is a link as to how we register for this? Can someone please send? Thank you! And thanks Avaya for being so generous with our kids!

👋😊😊👋👋

Is every employee able to request sponsorship for their kids sports teams from Avaya? Or only the people in marketing?

Everything is so much better. I appreciate that we are clearly admitting that we run Engage (as opposed to always hiding behind IAUG). It's refreshing honesty.

Our open approach is needed. But I have many questions as to how we maintain our value proposition if we are perceived as an integrator. I guess it's a Catch -22.

In all seriousness, there is a lot to be PROUD of that is at Engage.

  1. it is NOT Orlando (thank f'n G-d that Disney obsessed Batman is no longer influencing IAUG)
  2. Legitimate content. Legitimate stage presence. No silly superhero branding or crayon 🖍️ font.
  3. The C Suite, in general, is stellar. Emphasis on Product/Engineering

(finally in concert) and Marketing

The questionable

  1. Sales org has been hijacked by the hierarchical game for power. It's too bad AM didn't have a leader from his past to appoint. The experiment that is ....IS stiffling. Many partners feel choked. There appears to be a strategy at play where they SAY one thing to a partner yet do another. Many partners are simmering with frustration.
  2. Love Ring Central. CEO is solid. Yet too much confusion around Zoom AND RC. What is the real story? Is it RC is still the prime partner but the deal was inked too late and Zoom got the headlines? Is it that Avaya doesn't care they just want to increase subscribers any-which-wat-that-you-can for an as-soon-as-possible buy-out or spin off?
  3. Am I the only one who observed certain directors and wonder HOW they survive? How they were the VIPs of Chirico era, very agreeable, first people to disdain anyone who tried to do what was right for the business if it wasn't the narrative of the C Suite/YeeeeeT they are NOW playing VIP to new leadership? In what universe? PR in particular blows my mind. Full on Chameleon!
  4. Revenue/Sales leadership. Not necessarily blending in. A lot of mistrist.
  5. There is Hope. Surprisingly. Yet some familiar sand bags inspire caution. Will we leave hopeful or cautious????

BAIN!

Bain is ON STAGE with ML in the topic of CX/EX.

  1. Is it that the board doesn't trust ML without some guardrails?
  1. Shocked they would be so willing to show their hand as to the depth of Bain involvement inside of Avaya!

Mr. Bain of Existence was spot on!
