Thread regarding Cigna layoffs

Im in ESI Finance

My boss is a di-k. And I'm the whipping boy but since I have arrived, two people have left. One is on medical leave of absence. And there are only three people left... interesting to see if layoffs are on the table. But I don't care at this point

Layoffs are on the table, and no matter how much of a di-k your boss is Cigna will prop them up and punish you if you file complaints. Sadly that is what the culture is now. There was a time when layoffs were rare and tended to be only contractors and the company took bad managers seriously because they cared about employee retention and being known as a good employer. Sadly thise days are long gone.

I suspect the layoffs aren't going to affect ESI and Accredo as badly since retention, especially at band 1 and lower band 2 levels are absolutely horrid and they are basically taking anything they can get at this point. Especially Contact Center and Billing
