Thread regarding DXC Technology layoffs

Retired

Unless you are too old to find a good position as I was, you are either too lazy to leave or just not that worthy to even be with this clown company.
In my experience the ones who whined the most really couldn't make it anywhere else.
And remain in place
Hang around and complain, you have plenty of company to join you.
The people I worked with that Were of any worth easily left on their own.
Change is there for those who want to try instead of joining this sorry @ss thread

TUPE-ed in and waiting for DXC to lose the contact on renewal and get TUPE-ed out again.

Leaving is complex. Working from home is worth a lot to my overall wellbeing, and the good ones of us most have 2nd jobs and side hustles. This is the trade off. If DXC wants motivated staff working 110% on their ventures it needs to pay more. But maybe it just doesn't need that. It needs people who know what they are doing who can be around when required, that might be 2 hours a day in some cases. The rest of the time is taken up with pointless status meetings and equally pointless paperwork. Those two I already cut out of my DXC life.

I don’t disagree entirely, but for some it’s not as easy as getting up and leaving.

For starters what about the ones in their late 40’s with 25 years service.

Severance pay is an incentive to stay.

What about the ones who have family commitments that don’t allow them to easily leave?

I will say anyone with a 2 at the beginning of their age is id--tic to stay here.

Too young to retire and too old to leave.
