Thread regarding Intel Corp. layoffs

INTC is lower now than when it joined the Dow 25 years ago. MSFT is up 800% in the same time period

On November 1, 1999, INTC and MSFT became the 1st and 2nd NASDAQ companies to be put on the Dow Jones Industrial Average.

It never surpassed its heyday of the dot-com bubble. Chew on that.

PSO is an id--t. Like Apple he also wanted to hold back another customer, Google.
Typical presumptuous bean counter fool

It all started when Steve Jobs asked Intel (Paul O. ) to support a brand new iphone product/concept. The rest is history. I mean..seriously...how are you the #1 chip maker in the entire world and PASS on EVERYTHING MOBILE? NO PHONE TODAY has an Intel inside...sickening how people got paid millions for that decision alone...

BK was CEO for 5 years.
How do you explain the other 20 years of underperformance?

You can thank BK and the Board (Chairman AB) for the underwhelming results.

@ $300 that would put Intel at a 1.2T market cap.

Larger than TSMC by 2x and at the same time the goal is to be #2

That’s Intel math for you…

The reality is that Intel will be lucky to stay within its 25 year trading range of 20-60.

Intel stock has been a huge disappointment for long-term investors.

not just inflation but you also need to adjust for the share buybacks which inflate the share price even with no change to market cap. In fairness there was small value created but it was all stolen by the army of executives paying themselves lofty packages. Just look at Pat's comp compared to Intel's performance during his shift.

Now do it with inflation added and it's even worse.
The corporate incompetence is biblical.
