How much window dressing are they trying to add to the godawful numbers before its released.

CFO has had turnover from resignations, retirements and cutting 99% of contractors. The people that remain in accounting and reporting are exceptional, but the task list is long and the hurdles are high. UDA documentation is he-l if you want to do it right.
So much of the quality control work over closing the books and reporting is manual and uses so much brain power. No Brenda, I can't retire my brain that's needed to answer this thing that I can't source from a database. I have a headache.
I wager they are putting up something shiny to distract everybody from the losses or upcoming the (possible) consent order/fines.
