There is a universal shrug/sigh oozing from this news. It just absolutely confirms that Avaya is going to be a company for the 5-10 powers that be (Apollo/Bain/Masarek/Brigade Capital/BoD members) to INFLATE Value for their Sell Off and their PAYDAY. PERIOD. This is what Alan does. It's his Harvard Playbook. We are naive if we don't accept that AM was involved with Apollo and Bain prior to accepting the role in May 2022. He may not have been convinced they needed to be brought to Chapter 11 at that time. Yet he knew it was his perfect wounded bird to offer up to the private equity gods.
This is not a company of EMPLOYEES. Not a company of TEAMS. Not a company focused on delivering value and innovation to end-user CLIENTS.

When I was at Avaya I was treated like I was an entry level employee because I didn't grow up inside Nortel. But I was behind 1/2 dozen M&A deals in previous organizations as young as 29 yrs old and I signed the NDA's. Even without NDA's, professionally I knew to not speak in any shape or form. In fact the style was along the lines of not even having an eye movement in response to any suggestions about any activity.
Yet Mz. ST claims to be some sort of superior professional that no one at Avaya is ever worthy of being in her presence, and she can't keep quiet???????? I sure don't miss being condescebded to by ST. Sorry to all my Avaya friends who still have to deal with that broken record. You really are doing God's work if you can find a way to tolerate that.
