Thread regarding Allstate Corp. layoffs

"Allstate pulled line 10 and 19 from the Independents in several states."

Is there truth to this comment on another post? If so, what would be the advantage to company?

IA here. It is true that we no longer have the Allstate product in my state. That’s because we have NatGen products now. NatGen is much better. Plus, you can actually call an underwriter and they give exceptions. Allstate was terrible for IAs.

Allstate also pulled line 19 from several states for exclusive agents

Believe it is true in a handful of states - places like NJ where Allstate is even worse than normal at running the business. Ironically, instead, they can sell NatGen’s product there.
