Oakville is probably the most expensive piece of property that Ford owns. Have you seen what homes go for in that area? You need a 40 year mortgage and 20 percent down. Ford would be better off selling it or developing it like they did Wixom.

Canada provided huge tax breaks to Stellantis and Volkswagon for their batter plants. Billions. No idea what was offered for Oakville.

TN stepped up with huge tax breaks. Something Canada would never do. Oakville was doomed by anti-industry leaders. TN won't have that problem. And with anti-ICE leaders the U.S. will force EVs on all of us.

TLDR; TN will be just fine.
