Thread regarding Cigna layoffs

Is HCSC getting any real estate in the acquisition?

Does anyone have insight into whether any of the MA buildings (Nashville office) will be part of the deal?

I would assume you'll be reassigned to another smaller office like in Franklin. Which might be a good thing as you increase the chance to work from home, but office aligned due to limited space.

I asked my VP this question and he said they won't know that for a couple of months yet as the deal gets struck.

My wild guess would be any locations that has a high concentration of Medicare employees with existing Cigna infrastructure. Nashville ranks as a high likely place. If this sale was going on over 6 years ago, I would have said Baltimore, but they closed those Medicare specific offices a long time ago. I am not sure of any other.

A while ago, there was a job opening for a corporate real estate position. I assume they were hired for the HCSC acquisition and post sale work.
