Thread regarding Honeywell International Inc. layoffs

Unconscious Bias Training has arrived

Will each employee be categorized in some 9-block DEI bias scale depending on the time it takes to get through the training?

“The unconscious bias training is an online course in the Learning Hub and follows an adaptive learning methodology - it gauges how well you're doing as you're taking the course and adjusts content accordingly. So, the course could take up to an hour, but at a minimum, 30 minutes.“

And this was interesting:

“To that end, we are requiring all employees to take unconscious bias training annually, as permitted by local laws.”

Most companies don't know how to do Unconscious Bias Training. The way to do it is to lock all the participants in a room with a full hosted bar and require them to drink up all the li---r before they can leave. All the Unconscious Bias will come out and everyone will leave unconscious!

Why not? They brought Jack Welch style in 9-Block stack ranking (that wrecked GM and Honeywell Red), so why not put the cherry on it with DEI as well?

This isn’t training, it’s HW covering itself. Accelerator training for Band 4 was the most mind numbing experience I’ve had to suffer. Fortunately I purged most of it from my mind as soon as I’d finished the quiz.

It looks like the wokies have quit responding to this thread. Maybe they are busy consciously studying for the unconscious bias training?

I just looked up that case and it was decided in Hineywell's favor. Seems that the plaintiff's evidence was just a couple of lengthy emails and a reference to another John Boy email. It also looks like a termination with no severance was the result. It was determined to be a quit.
That ruins my plans.

I laughed all the way through the ridiculous propaganda session and extended the middle finger to the computer numerous times. DEI = Didn't Earn It.

In 2021, my last year at Honeywell, they rolled out the mandatory Unconscious Bias Training. All were to complete it by the end of Black History Month ( February). I refused and missed the deadline and was harassed weekly for not taking it. I also refused to take s-xual harassment training with a completion date by the end of Women's History Month (march). I didn't see the point since I already know how. I got calls and emails from higher-ups and HR and I told them I didn't agree with the premise and would not be taking the woke training. I quit in May so I don't know how much longer until they came after me. I was happy to see someone filed suit over it and I wish them much success.

HW has gone increasingly woke in the last few years. They are continually pushing one form of political agenda or another. Regardless of my opinion on these issues, I don't come to work for the company to tell me what to think on none work related maters.

You used to be able to fast forward the sections, where you couldn't I left the video playing in the background whilst I did something that was not wasting my time. I would hate to have some forced patronizing adaptive/ai cr@p thrown at me, so glad I left that ridiculous farce of a company.

The training honestly wasn't as bad as I expected.

I believe that there is a lawsuit being pursued by a couple of Honeywell employees that refused this sort of DIE training. Whether their refusal was due to religious grounds or something else, I don't know. I do not plan on completing this training. If one behaves as a responsible person and in a respectful manner, this sort of training is not necessary. This training is only to drive wedges between people and to distract from larger issues.

This was rolled out I think 2 years ago. I was hoping it had gone away since it skipped a year.
