I recently heard a rumor that 5 days RTO might be coming. Anyone heard the same?

@egjf+1soAD0aX it depends on your team/department. I'm effectively remote, my team is effectively remote. I come in to reach the quota then jump out around lunch. I don't always come in the 4 days a week (sometimes stuff just comes up at home) and haven't heard anything about it.
This 5 day thing is definitely a rumor (I haven't heard about it from anyone in person), although I wouldn't put it past our "leader" at the moment.
As it stands today, does everyone stay in the office all day? Or do they leave at lunch etc. What are the rules? Curious, perspective employee.
You can still work from anywhere on your nights and weekends.
Will they still post jobs as "hybrid" when they are requiring 5 days in like they do with 4 lol
Well, keep
Pressure on slack and pulse surveys.
Too bad if leadership dont like it .
Too bad.
I’ve even heard about extending the radius from 60 miles to 90 or more, but that seems doubtful to me. 5 days a week seems like almost a given before long. Definitely more likely than going to something that’s actually “hybrid”.
I don’t think USAA can get rid of their employees fast enough. If the job market was worth anything right now, they’d get their wish much sooner. It’s as bad as I’ve ever seen.
Watch out for the exec spin: they'll call 5 days in-office "hybrid" if you work the sixth day at home
Given the lack of RTO discussion, the apparent disregard from leadership regarding RTO complaints, and the likelihood that individuals aren't voicing their concerns in the pulse survey or your-voice slack channel, it wouldn't be surprising. When feedback and discussion metrics about RTO diminish, it becomes easier to pretend there isn't an issue.
I don’t see why not. This place is already pretending that 4 days is hybrid. This “leadership” team lies to members and employees on the daily. So why wouldn’t we start a 5 day “hybrid” RTO schedule.
With Wayne still as CEO and thinking morale will improve with everyone in office, wouldn’t shock me.
Your screen time, badge swipe, and taco time are coming due soon...once that happens, they'll realize it's all hands on d..deck
Ah no.
