Little backstory we learned maybe two years ago: one of the woefully inexperienced HR VPs admitted in a department meeting that the “assessment” was her idea AND it didn’t work well. I think she was pontificating on “failing fast”. But not to worry kids, she was fired when her three year contract was up! I just wonder if her dog is still named “mayhem”….
I still remember the townhall where he was bragging about all the money the company was putting into help employees professionally develop. Still waiting for that.
What we got was Suren's mandatory 'culture of learning' where we were told what courses we had to take and when they had to be completed by or it'd show up on our reviews.

When I tell people about how those layoffs went down, people are appalled and in disbelief. Or they ask how that was not major news. I had a few relatives who had Allstate insurance who decided to just get other insurance after telling them what happened. That layoff was handled so abysmally, it’s still hard to comprehend four years later. If you ever needed confirmation that your employer dislikes you, that was about a clear a sign you’ll ever get.
Don’t forget he said he was taking the video game assessment too lol.
