What office? Northbrook home office has been demolished....
Absolutely! I'm so overpaid I'd even mop the floors if they wanted me to.
There is no way I could go back into an Allstate office. If I had to go back to the office, I would have to quit my other company remote job. I don't think Allstate would not like me double dipping right in front of them. it's much easier to double dip working remotely.
Agree that movement to Zones was huge miss. Local market knowledge no longer exists. Glenn made his $$$ and hightailed back to Longmeadow, Mass.
Hubs are Charlotte, Irving, Chandler and to a smaller extent Hudson. There are < 18 physical claim locations left. Hundreds of millions saved. Put sale of Northbrook and it’s in the ballpark of $500 million. 👏
I would do anything Tom asked. He's my guiding light, my North star, the wind beneath my wings!
For those now on the outside, can somebody list the primary hub locations or claim offices? Nice to save on leased space, but the culture and operational excellence have taken a hit. It would be challenging to rebuild given the way Glenn dismantled the Regions and footprint. Too many SVP/VP salaries tied up in regions, but further consolidation would've done the trick. Zones and functions = underperformance.
I no longer have a filter after working from home for so long. I'd let these fuggers hear it and would probably get fired.
It’s pretty easy these days to lease commercial real estate. It’s available everywhere. They could go back to New Mexico or start up in South Dakota. Wherever the cheapest space is they will find it. They love them some Dems on their face, but they vote Red by going to corporate tax friendly places. Such fraudsters. And no No way in hot he-l would I ever go back to an office for Allsnake. If going back to offices is the latest trend, Tom will try it just to fook with people to make them leave voluntarily. Part of his resource strategy. Let me go and give me my severance. I’ll sign an NDA.
Not enough office space left to cope with this demand
