Thread regarding DXC Technology layoffs

Renumeration

We should be given a raise to reflect the affect inflation has had on our pay which has been decimated, any merit raises should be on top. Client rates are increased every year by xx%. Let's see just how much the workers are valued by the "New leadership team".

No one should get a cost of living increase, if you met or exceeded your goals you should get a decent pay increase.

Cost of living increase means you change jobs if you can get the going rate! If your to stupid to stay at DXC or no one will hire you then you belong where your at.

Me I quit last year and have a much better role now and 2 increases since I
left.

DXC's "margin expansion" is done simply by eroding employee pay whilst charging clients COLA.

It also helps when employees quit and aren't replaced.

That's their strategy....

Of course the only problem is that it also results in declining effort on behalf of those clients, so effectively a death spiral.

The people at the top need the money more, they have lavish luxuries to buy, you lot need to survive on less money but do more work.

That's engaging the people from the millionaires at the top.

Even more insulting when you learn your colleague who do as little as possible other than log in every day get the same percentage as you. Whether it's 0% or 10%. Appraisals a waste of time we're all in that 80% average bucket, no opportunity for managers to distinguish and reward people.

Budget on 0%. If we get anything it will be small almost insulting token, which won't go to address any anomalies between staff nor to catch up with the market. The only thing which might change their mind is more people resigning, but an awful lot have already done so, and it doesn't seem to change things.
