Why not? I’m sure people do gummies and smoke weed all day. Probably did it when they were in the office too!

@5msq+1skP2Bue You have been posting some variation of this for literally years. Did something happen to you mentally? Are you ok?
I don’t drink or I would. Just to the point of being creatively tipsy, not to the point of affecting my productivity.
Drink all you want claims clowns- just return some phone calls
What do you think the policy is? Are you that uneducated that you don’t know one can’t drink and work? Id--t, first class. PS= issue was not po-n.
@2qzl And don't forget the frequent h@ndjobs that were given out there.
We had a lady in Ct auto claims who came in reeking like a brewery every morning. She sat next to a guy who watched po-n at his desk and he was eventually fired. That place was a disaster. It’s hard to believe what was allowed to go on there.
We used to have a few in Underwriting in Hudson who would go downtown and have some drinks at lunch and come back and entertain us. That's what working for Silvestri did to you.
That CT claim office had a few people that were drunk all day. Can’t even imagine if they were still with the company when it went remote.
If Tommy can swill gin during the day and during corporate town halls which has been obvious then I can take a n-p of bourbon if I so choose. And I do. You actually get a better result out of me when I am numb to this actually being Allstate that I work for.
Years ago Law & Reg received a memo that they were not allowed to work for the rest of the day if they consumed a beverage during lunch.
Obviously no one cares if you do or don’t. You work from home. It’s a digital company via emails and chats. Don’t worry about it. Enjoy your beer with your lunch. Tom takes his vodka soda and caviar at noon also.
Not recommended but just don’t tell people if you do.
If you have to ask this you shouldn’t be in corporate America, where you should actually act like a professional. And where you no, don’t drink during the workday LOL.
I encourage it.
